A new year of sewing

Well, the holidays are over and now it's back to sewing.  I have made 16 - yes 16 roman shades. Nine for the new grand daughter who's arriving next month and 7 for Rachel and Chris's living room.  Hopefully they'll help eliminate the draughts at their old house.
I have been doing a little other sewing though, The hungry caterpillar is so cute.

CLEANING UP THE SEWING ROOM

Today I just had to clean up the sewing room.  I really do not need to buy any fabrics for a good long time.  I am so lucky to have such a huge room to sew in, however I seem to be running out of room.

I will be leaving to go to Lake Forest, Illinois to visit Rachel, Chris and Felicity.  Rachel is due to have our second grand daughter in February and I'm going to help her get organized for the arrival of our new little one.  All the baby clothes are stored high up on the third floor of their old house and I will be be dragging everything down to be washed and re organized and ready the room for the new baby.  Felicity is also in for some big changes.  Her new bedroom furniture arrives next Wednesday and Rachel and I are excited to see it all set up and hopefully to see Felicity enjoy it too.
I have to get everything ready here before I head out on Saturday morning.  Hopefully the weather will co-operate.

Today I made a wristlet - not sure if should make any more of these, I'll just wait to see if there is any interest on Britgaldesigns@etsy.com
